1. What is the working title of your book? Vampires to the left of me, Slayers to the right
2. Where did the idea come from for the book? I was actually sitting around one day listening to my single friends talk about their dating experiences, and I thought it would be fun to showcase dating nightmares. 4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? My main female character, Tracie, which the story is based around would best be played by Drew Barrymore. The lead men, August McCarron I would love to have Ian Somerhalder and for Nick, Chris Pine.
5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? Things aren't always how they appear to be when it comes to love and responsiblity.
6. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? Frankly, I'm hoping either way. I think it's a great story and a lot of fun to read.
7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? The first daft flew unto the pages, it's the editing that surprised me. It's been almost a year.
8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? I'm not sure that I could say? There's many twists and turns with my story and just when you think you have it figured out, it takes you somewhere else.
9. Who or What inspired you to write this book? I've always loved writing, but Kerrlyn Sparks really got me excited with her work. I'm a huge fan of hers.
10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? I think the interactions between all the characters, and how they have this incredible history together both from this life and the lives before. How they manage to find each other and finish some issues of the heart that haven't been resolved in previous lifetimes. I think it will entertain someone who is just looking for an escape from reality and let's you experience someone else's trial and tribulations with humor and compassion.
